Before Your Session:
Once we get a date and time set for your session, I email you a session questionnaire to get to know a bit about you and what you are envisioning for your session. Your answers to the session questionnaire help me begin to get inspiration and ideas for your session. Together, we will combine your vision with my ideas to create an experience that is unique to you!
I also email you a session contract for you to read and sign. Once I receive your signed contract your date will be reserved on my calendar.
In the case of inclement weather and the need to reschedule, I will make a decision and contact you no later than 1 hour before your session start time. If it looks like it is likely that we will need to reschedule I will be in contact before then.
During Your Session:
During your session, I will do my best to accommodate your needs and to create an atmosphere that is comfortable and fun for everyone. Your only job is to have fun and relax! I love capturing a combination of posed and candid photos which gives you the opportunity to display your natural self. When taking family photos don’t stress about children acting their best and always looking at the camera. Sometimes that added pressure can upset children making them grumpy and stressed out. Instead, do what makes your family laugh and smile. I’ll be there clicking away capturing those silly and sweet moments!
To wrap up the session I’ll answer any questions you may have about receiving your photos. Your session balance is also due at the end of your session. Payments accepted are cash and checks.
After Your Session:
After your session, I take your photos and upload them to my computer to begin my editing process. My goal while editing is to make each individual look their best by bringing out their unique features all while keeping the portrait looking natural and real. Once I begin editing I usually like to share a few sneak peeks with you on my Facebook page! The return time to receive your edited photos will be stated in the session contract.
You will receive an email inviting you to view your photos in an online password protected gallery. You will be able to download all of your photos from there. Once you have your photos downloaded, you can choose whichever website you would like to order from. However, I do strongly recommend a professional printing website that I will share with you when I send you your print release. You will also be able to share your gallery with family and friends. Flash drives with your photos are available for an additional cost.
